RECOMMENDATIONS ON BALLOT MEASURES

Dear Friends,

This is a critical Mid-term election for America, but also for Colorado and Gilpin County.  I have read all the ballot issues, and have come to my own decisions on what I will be voting for/against in this election.

In order to save space/time, I am listing below my votes on all of the ballot measures, and am leaving the deep-dive reading for you in the Blue Book sent to you by the State of Colorado.  You can also research these items online for full info at this address:  leg.colorado.gov/bluebook.

MY RECOMMENDATIONS (IN BALLOT ORDER):

Amendment 81 - YES
Amendment 82 - YES
Amendment 83 - YES
Amendment 84 - YES
Amendment 85 -  YES
Amendment 86 -  YES
Amendment 87 -  NO

Proposition NN - NO
Proposition 132 - YES
Proposition 133 - YES
Proposition 134 - YES
Proposition 135 - YES
Proposition 136 - YES
Proposition 137 - NO

Gilpin County Ballot Measures:

Ballot Issue 1A - NO - Keep our own tax overpayments!
Ballot Issue 7B - NO - Raise our taxes for Timberline Fire when                                           we already pay two Special taxes to them?
I appreciate their work, but, no.

I hope this list is a helpful cheat sheet for you as you vote. I know it takes a long time to research each of these measures, but it's worth it to know you are voting your interests, and those of the State and County we call home.

God bless you, the country and the county!

Thanks for reading and sharing.
