On Tuesday, I was removed from the Historic Courthouse by Sahari McCormick, Clerk of the County, because I insisted she follow the Secretary of State rules for Signature Verification Watchers. As I told you the other day, our Clerk made her own rules, some of which are counter to the State’s rules, and do not allow Watchers to look at the ballot envelopes to help assess the validity of the signature of the voter. 

Why do Watchers exist in State rules?

Sahari McCormick has trained the Watchers that they are not permitted to ask to see the ballot envelopes! (Opposite of State rules).

Whatever your party affiliation, I’m sure if you are reading this, you will understand why I am sharing it with you. Transparency is critical.

If you are - or have access to - a lawyer willing to help, please have them contact me ASAP, because we are STILL not allowed in this county to follow State rules to verify ballots are legitimate.  Yet, the voting continues without Watchers doing their jobs. They must sit behind the Judge, and not challenge ballots under this out-of-control Clerk!

Sahari put the ballot envelopes on the desk to be sure I couldn’t see the signature to compare to the file.

I posted the story to Facebook, and couldn’t believe people weren’t as upset as I was for having election interference right here in our county! Instead they are blaming me! (Not all, because I’ve received some beautiful, supportive letters from people who know me and trust what I have reported). 

                                   I thank God for all of you.  

This gets ugly, so I warn you. It doesn’t hurt me personally, because I know what I’m saying is true.  BUT - I hope some of you, if moved to do so - will speak out against this cheating, before it’s too late!

Here is the underbelly of Gilpin County responding on social media:

If you are a regular citizen of Gilpin County who is not a radical left or right voter, we would appreciate you speaking out to make this county better. People shouldn’t treat each other this way.

I pray for our county and our country every day, many times a day.
