Here’s your update from our last blogpost regarding the Republican Candidates Debate‼️
Bob Sweeney did a great job telling you what happened in his current column called BARB WIRE BOB in the Weekly Register-Call, attached below. It wasn’t boring, that’s for sure. Jessica’s team tried to take the whole event down, but they lost the vote they demanded. It was crazy!
Below Bob’s article is Jessica’s statement and departure.
The evening was a success with a standing-room-only crowd and really great questions from the community. It is a shame that Jessica Lovingier Kays didn’t stay to take questions.
The last paragraph of the article has been accurate in the past, and this Gilpin County Republican Committee was no different. (‘Republicans are good at circular firing squads’).
Many people have told me they attended a GCRC meeting or two, but it was not good. The people weren’t friendly, they seemed angry, and combative. I witnessed that myself.
Now - I would like to ask anyone in Gilpin County that is a Constitutional Conservative to join us at our New Gilpin County Republican meeting on June 6 at the library at 7 p.m. We expect to meet a lot of like-minded people…you know, those that value their freedoms, their 1st Amendment, their 2nd Amendment, less government, closed borders, no wars, lower taxes, no medical mandates or DEI, no men in women’s sports, no grooming of children and on and on.
If you are an unaffiliated voter, moderate dem, or conservative Republican, you have a new place to meet in Gilpin County!
This is the time you’ve been waiting for!
